Age Concern Northumberland

Age Concern Northumberland live in a building called ‘The Round House’, and when they decided to expand the building, they decided that they also wanted branding, so a logo was developed and branding was implemented for the building, the new cafe, the facilities and the activities offered. A menu was designed, and stationery, as well as an A board and fliers. Age Concern wanted people to feel that the building belonged to them and was a friendly place.

Age Concern Northumberland also needed a new website. They wanted it to use the same colour scheme as the main Age Concern website, be clear and user friendly.

St Oswald’s Hospice Midnight Walk

St Oswald’s provides hospice care for adults and children. They are situated in Gosforth, just outside of Newcastle in a purpose built facility offering a range of flexible services to North East families. The organisation’s holistic approach aims to address not just physical symptoms, but also spiritual and emotional needs too. Families from across the region can benefit from their services.

The Midnight Walk began in 2008 as a fundraising activity for the charity, and is about to take place again for the third year.

Whiteacres Design created the brand identifier for the Midnight Walk as well as all the promotional materials which included posters, fliers, t-shirts, banners and entry forms to encourage walkers to take part, and this is a relationship which is continuing in 2010.
